I got the HIGH SPEED Fios, not the SLOW Fios. I can download entire webcast college courses from iTunes, hundreds at a time and run music, etc.

Yeah it would probably be the same issue at my house. 5 year old desktop would putt along slowly. New laptop that is less than 1 year old would probably be slowed by the wireless speed barrier.
